Перші дні війни для усього нашого народу були найважчими. Свідомість не хотіла сприймати реальність. Важко було повірити, що до нас прийшла війна. Але ця подія стала справжнім потрясінням для Європи та й усього світу.
У столиці Уельсу - Кардіфф діти Мері, Ельсі, Ефан з ініціативи Тоні та Ффіони Джонсів організувались і провели доброчинний ярмарок у підтримку школярів України. Поштовхом до дії став сюжет на місцевому телебаченні про те, як учні школи «Під ратушею» плели маскувальні сітки для Збройних сил України. Сьогодні кошти в сумі 14 тисяч гривень уже в Україні, і їх передали дирекції школи. Отримана фінансова допомога буде використана для покращення освітнього середовища школи.
Слова вдячності складаємо батькам Мері, Ельсі, Ефан за гуманне виховання та небайдужість. Після перемоги вони стануть першими гостями нашої школи.
The first days of the war were the most difficult for all our people. We couldn’t perceive that reality. It was hard to believe that the war had started. That warfare became a real shock for Europe and the whole world.
The children Mary, Elsie, and Efan from a small Welsh town were involved in the initiative by Tony Jones held a charity event to support Ukrainian pupils. The Welsh children were encouraged with the story broadcast on the local television about how schoolchildren of Yavoriv GSE Institution № 2 which is also called School Under the Town Hall wove camouflage nets for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Today, funds of 14,000 hryvnias are already in Ukraine, and they have been handed over to the school administration. The received financial assistance will be used to improve the educational environment of Yavoriv GSE Institution № 2.
We are grateful to the parents of Mary, Elsie, and Efan for their humane upbringing of their children. After the victory, they will be the first guests at our school.
